Roadmap
Twenty-five months, four countries, three transnational meetings, two training programmes, three closing conferences. Here is the timeline.
Dec 2025
Online launch meeting bringing all partners together. Coordination tools, communication channels and the project shared drive go live.
Dec 2025 – Jan 2026
This website goes online. Buinho leads the build; Dimitar Vlahov launches the social media presence and starts publishing monthly updates on the project's progress.
Jan – Mar 2026
Center IRIS runs the first training programme online via Zoom. The full consortium learns to design 3D models in TinkerCAD and produces test drawings between sessions.
April 2026
Five-day in-person training at Buinho's facility in Lisbon. Each participant works on their own Creality Ender 3 Pro printer, learning Cura, Thingiverse curation, calibration and inclusive design. The workshop closes with a small group project where participants design a 3D tactile aid from scratch.
Apr – Sep 2026
Each school reviews national primary curricula to identify recurring themes that would benefit from spatial, tactile representation.
September 2026
Hosted by Dragan Kovačević. The consortium reviews curriculum findings and agrees on the shared set of themes that will guide the design of the 3D library.
Oct 2026 – Sep 2027
The core production phase. Each partner school designs and prints aids matched to the agreed themes, tests them in mainstream classrooms with blind and visually impaired students, and iterates. Two transnational meetings in Belgrade during this period bring partners together to review work and run joint testing sessions.
2026 – 2027
Tested 3D models, video guides and best-practice notes are progressively published on this website's resource section, freely available for any school in Europe to download and adapt.
November 2027
Three closing events: an international conference in Skopje (organised by Dimitar Vlahov), a joint Belgrade event organised by the two Serbian partners, and a national conference in Ljubljana hosted by Center IRIS. Each event combines in-person and online participation.
December 2027
Final reports, public summary and the open library remain online. The partner schools continue using and expanding the library as part of their inclusive education work.
