Center IRIS

The only educational institution in Slovenia delivering adapted programmes for blind and visually impaired children and young people, from kindergarten to upper secondary school. Founded over a century ago, Center IRIS supports more than 450 students across the country, with most learning in mainstream schools through its inclusive education support.

Center IRIS coordinates the project, leads training in TinkerCAD, and oversees the quality of all 3D models produced by the consortium.

School for Visually Impaired Pupils "Veljko Ramadanović"

The only institution in Serbia dedicated to the education of children and young people with visual impairment, with more than a century of experience. The school runs early intervention, primary, secondary and vocational programmes, and provides specialised support to 30 visually impaired students in mainstream schools across the country.

In I can touch it, the school leads Work Package 4 (production of the 3D tactile aids) and co-organises the closing conference in Belgrade.

Osnovna škola "Dragan Kovačević"

A Belgrade primary school founded in 1970 to provide adapted education for visually impaired pupils, today welcoming children with a wider range of developmental, sensory and learning needs. The school combines a regular primary curriculum with specialist methods adapted to each student.

Dragan Kovačević leads Work Package 3 (curriculum review and theme selection), drawing on its long experience adapting teaching materials for low-vision learners.

"Dimitar Vlahov" State School for Children and Youth with Visual Impairment

Skopje · North Macedonia

The only institution in North Macedonia delivering primary and secondary vocational education for students with visual impairment. Sixty years of practice supporting blind and low-vision learners, plus an active outreach role training mainstream teachers and adapting tactile materials.

Dimitar Vlahov leads dissemination (Work Package 5), running the project's social media and organising the closing international conference in Skopje.

Buinho Associação

Messejana · Alentejo · Portugal · www.buinho.pt

A rural digital fabrication lab and artist residency programme in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal. Founded in 2015, Buinho works at the intersection of education, digital fabrication and social inclusion, with extensive experience running Erasmus+ training courses for European teachers in maker pedagogy and 3D printing.

Buinho leads the technical training in 3D modelling and printing (a five-day hands-on workshop in Lisbon, April 2026) and is responsible for building this website and its open-resource repository.
